Pace the Film
Unit 6 Brief
Choices for film project
OPTION 7: FILM AND PERFORMANCE TWO:
This is an option for students who can already demonstrate film skills and are considering using film in their Final Year. It is a deeply exploratory option into representational politics, ethics of participation and social practice, and the poetic as political (and the political as poetic), with an emphasis on critical engagement, play and craft. This is an option for up to 8 students. You explore using film in relation to performance through different choices for example Artist's film or using film within Design for Dance or other projects happening within the term.

Inspirations/Influences: - [ ] The night bus in Harry Potter - [ ] Our own ideas about the pace of life Living in London, going to dance college, not being able to keep up with the
work load Having voices over the video “Lonely” Yanis Marshall Video
Goals for the Project: To investigate how the pace of living in London vs elsewhere, impacts how we move in, and view the world the surrounds us; and how these subtle dynamic
shifts may be interpreted by those around us.
